Lot of 3 Homemade Military and Truck Bed Trailers + Like New Expanded Metal Side Extensions + 3 Truck Toolboxes, Ramps, Stands, Extra Tow Bar.
Selling this group of 3 Trailers altogether. The Blue Trailer is made from military parts and is a sturdy steel beast. It has an Atwood tongue and measures approx. 5ft x10ft (plus tongue) and is made from a Military grade pumpkin and Military Truck axle, and the steel thickness on this is amazing (over 3/16") heavy gauge. It is still super straight no rustthrough holes, and the tailgate is even still in perfect alignment and opens and closes snugly. This one does need new tires though, and would not recommend towing it with current tires. Was hoping to add the painted black expanded metal sides to this or the brown trailer for increased landscaping trailer hauling capacity but never got around to it. There's probably 1.5 sheets of heavy gauge expanded metal in this side rails and this material sells for over $150 per sheet, plus the angle iron. So a great headstart on extending the sides of this trailer or your own. The Blue Trailer is homemade, was never titled, and does not come with an AZ Plate. Although it is homemade, it has very straightforward design, and with proper wiring and lights should have no problems getting it inspected and titled as homemade trailer. I have a new tongue jack that is included with this.
With some agressive tires and a coat of paint, I could see this being an awesome size and great look for a tow behind Jeep 4x4 overland trailer or camping gear trailer as it is reasonably narrow. The steel and frame are even thick enough to support fold out rooftop tent decks if you need a really strong base frame to bring your offroad fold out camper to life. And modifying this would have the added benefit that you can detach your 4x4 and keep your camp setup. I was thinking with a little strut welding it would be great to add a rooftop tent like the: Smittybilt Overland Gen2 XXL Hard Shell Rooftop Tent RTT (5 Person) - Recon Recovery, or the Naturnest Orion Mini Hard Shell Rooftop Tent.
The Brown Tailer (approx. 5ft x8ft+tongue) is an Atwood tongue with Serial number stamped on it. It can be insured using this VIN number as I have insured it. This one rides very nice, especially if you put a little weight in it. Can be a little bouncy because of the leaf springs if there's nothing in it. It have a nice extra long tonque with space to mount one of the truck toolboxes on the tongue, just another project that I never got around to doing. This Brown Homemade Atwood Trailer, has been titled in the past, but I did not receive the title from the former owner (couldn't find it), but it does already come with an AZ Trailer plate that is permanent to the titleholder.
The White Truck Bed Tailer (approx. 5ft x8ft+tongue) can be insured, and has a VIN number and title, as I have insured it. This one rides nice and smooth. This White Truck Bed Trailer, comes with a Title, and with an AZ Trailer plate that is permanent to the current titleholder.
MANY EXTRAS (over $800 value if purchased new):
3 Like New Expanded Metal Side Extensions (>$400 to build these new)
3 Truck Toolboxes (3 x $150 used value = $350-$450 used value) [all of these latch and open both sides]
2 RV/Trailer Stabilizer Jack Stands ($30 new)
A nice sturdy Haul Master Style 5,000 lb Adjustable Detachable Tow Bar (>$85 new)
Heavy Duty all Steel Auto Ramp Set (>$60 new)
Bolt-On or Weld On Trailer Jack ($30 like new, but needs a bottom plate)
Come and check it out and feel free to make an offer. There's certainly plenty of value here especially for someone with metal working and welding talent. I have recently use the Brown and White trailers, but as tires on all of these are older, being sold as is. Asking $1,250 obo for all 3 Trailers and a lot of nice extras that would be well over $800 of value if purchased new.
