InMotion Hosting is seeking an IT Service Management Specialist that will bring exposure to implementing new ITSM tools and technology, processes, and best practices at a rapid pace. This role will directly impact our almost 200-team member strong Customer Success department, and will play a key part in solidifying InMotion Hosting as a leader in the industry.
This role will be responsible for leading service management implementation and Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) with organizational Change Management for our people, culture, and process towards a modernized digital service. The ITSM Specialist is a central and pivotal role in ITSM adoption for our company and will interact with top executives regularly.
What You'll Do:
Analyze and design requirements for a new solution to transition to, based on industry and ITIL best practices.
Identify and continually correct defects, optimize incident, service fulfilment process with rollouts of new products, feature-functions and services for minimal-friction customer engagement.
Lead collaboration as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and contribute to creation, deployment and maintenance of ITSM, KCS (Knowledge Centered-Support) best practices and standards.
Provide Design and Architecture expertise in terms of infrastructure requirements and software configurations for initial and at ongoing maintenance state.
Have sufficient knowledge of related technology, products, processes, industry expertise to assess, assist in technology implementation and continually educate internal stakeholders and teams on ITSM best practices and toolsets for optimum organizational outcome.
Develop and configure strategic and operational reports interfaces, for management and monitoring.

Ideal Candidates Have:
IITIL V2/V3/2011 Foundations Certification
3+ years of working experience as a key technical resource in development and delivery of ITSM services and or ITSM consulting industry
Deep practical understanding of the industry and Best Practices on Service, Incident, Change, Problem, Service Level, Configuration, and Knowledge Management
Active listening and strong communication skills (written, interpersonal and presentational)
Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership in solving business processes and/or technical problems
A proven team player mentality and strong team building skills
The below is optional but can help make you a top candidate:
ITIL Practitioner or Service Manager Certification
Knowledge of AI-related technologies such as ML, Python/R and implementation of automation in ITSM
Degree in Information Technology or related field
