Evans Custom Amplifiers E200 Solid State Amp Head w/ Spring Reverb circa the year 2000.
This is an amp head often used for pedal-steel guitar players and jazz guitarists for it's' clean headroom and high power (200 watts). The build is very rugged and made in the USA with high quality, heavy duty parts.
From their catalogue:
Great vintage, but solid state sound. Evans amps have a dynamic response (to picking intensity- FET transistors).
For tone control, this unit has the Depth and Expand switches along with Bass, Treble, and Body knobs. If you want a grittier (not overdrive) sound, there is a Scruff knob on the back of the amp. This amp will provide as much output power as anyone could possibly need these days. It will easily push two speaker cabinets. It is made with high quality components and is very solid at 23 pounds. The heavy duty power cord is pretty long at 12.5 feet.
This is a HEAD ONLY, you will need to supply a 4 ohm (or greater) speaker and a speaker cord. The spring REVERB DOESN’T WORK but can be replaced easily. This is priced to sell at $300, if you check around the internet, these go for around $500, thx.
