THIS POSITION REQUIRES YOU TO WORK LONG HOURS OUTSIDE MOVING FURNITURE, C-CARTS UP AND DOWN RAMPS ALL DAY, LOADING AND UNLOADING SA TRUCKS, ACCEPTING DONATIONS, HELPING IN THE STORE WHEN NEEDED.

Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees and donors.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks

Requirements
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
1. Maintain and clean up the area in and around the CCC trailer/pod at the beginning and end of each shift.
2. Appear neatly and cleanly dressed in suitable clothing as per The Salvation Army dress code policy.
3. Courteously assist the donor in the removal of all donated items from the donor’s vehicle and provide receipt.
4. Maintain all reports and paperwork as instructed by the CCC or Transportation supervisor.
5. Separate and sort all donated material into the proper containers, and properly stack material as instructed by the CCC supervisor.
6. Assist TSA drivers/PAs with loading donations on to trucks as necessary.
7. Always inform the CCC supervisor of needed items prior to running out (i.e.: brooms, receipts, totes, carts, etc.)
8. At the end of each shift, the CCC attendant must secure and lock the CCC trailer/pod.
9. Maintain good relations with property or store managers.
10. Overtime. Any and all overtime must have the written approval of the supervisor, Administrator, or his designate. His initials must appear on the time card beside the overtime hours.
11. Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned, from time to time, by the CCC Supervisor or Transportation Supervisor.
