This is the ‘poor mans’ pack camera’ which incorporated two significant innovations of its day; Polaroids’ simple to use instant print pack loads, and Kodaks’ four shot rotating flashcube. Its plastic hard body did not have the vulnerability or clumsiness of Polaroids’ folding bellows cameras, and it used the 88 color packs, the 87 black and white packs, and the amazing 3000 ASA high speed black and white packs. Its features included a front element focusing lens that focused down to 3 ½ feet, a light/dark exposure adjustment, a lens level mounted rotating flashcube socket, an optical viewfinder with rubber eyecup, a plastic lanyard, and two aluminum ‘cold clips’ for processing prints in temperatures below 65 degrees Fahrenheit, one imprinted with camera instructions and one imprinted with cold clip instructions. It4 appears to be in good serviceable condition and is a rare bird for any Polaroid collector.
