This is the famed Bell & Howell Eyemo newsreel/crash camera whose ruggedness survived military action in World War II and has been Hollywood’s favorite ‘crash camera’ ever since. This particular old war horse has taken action shots for many feature movies and can still deliver beautiful rock steady footage. Its spring motor has been removed in favor of optional external electric motors, not included. It’s internal film chamber accepts 35mmx100' daylight loading reels, and its open back accepts 35mmx400' external magazines. Its offset 3 lens ‘spyder’ turret allows use of long telephoto lenses without being seen by adjacent wide angles lenses, and the taking lens can be racked over to the full frame ground glass focuser and framer. Its filter slot offers use of behind the lens gel filters. The camera comes with an open back cover. As optional accessories, I can offer a wide range of Eyemo lenses, viewfinder objectives, electric motors, filter septums, 400' magazines, alternate door designs, and more.
