A monotype print is a unique work of art, and because only one impression is pulled from a plate, each print is an original. Eggman paints his images on the plate by using his fingers, a brush, and a cloth. When the image is completed, print paper is laid on the glass and then hand-rolled. It is at this time that the element of change intrudes; the final design on paper is determined not only by the artist's concept, but by the amount of ink used, and the copper inlay, and the pressure applied by the rolling. It measures 29 1/2” X 37 1/2”
