Removable plastic perches can be positioned at different heights; these have a textured side which should face up when put in place.
Already assembled; this has never been folded down after being assembled 3 years ago. It was used once and then rolled into storage. I do not know if it will easily fold down after being in unfolded shape for so long, but it does roll easily still, so perhaps the unfolding steps would work well also.

Not sure of size when folded as I’ve not done that to it. So please be sure your vehicle will hold it in the full unfolded size as it may not fold down anyway.
This was ordered from Amazon and arrived with slight damage that did not effect the use of the cage and you can only see the damage when up close. Discount was given due to the damage and the cost we paid for it was $131 instead of $155 at that time.
