Just in time for fall pond stocking or restocking - Rehoming 3 very large, very unique wakin goldfish.
Japanese wakin are rare in Tucson, I've only seen them in a local pet store once. Basically, they were the first fancy double-tailed goldfish from which all the other modern double tail varieties were derived. They are a long body double tail fish with moderate length tail and fins.
they are fancy enough to be very attractive, yet tough enough to hang with comets or koi in a pond.

All these fish came from either a koi breeder back east, or goldfish breeder in Hawaii.
Here is the breakdown of the fish:

Lemon yellow wakin, female, 5.5".
Extremely rare hard-to-find color. A breeder had a line of these a while ago, but he hasn't had very many for sale recently. These are the same color as the somewhat rare yellow comets, but this is a double tail wakin.
$35 OBO rehoming fee

Tancho (red spot on head) wakin, male, 6.5".
Another rare color variation.
$30 OBO rehoming fee.

"Red" (deep orange with some white) wakin, male, 6.5".
this is a big chunky male -very randy, always looking to breed.
He has a nice feature of buggy eyes, they're almost a dragon eye but not quite. Anyway interesting, very tough and rowdy fish.
$25 OBO rehoming fee.

$80 OBO rehoming fee for all three.

Note: the white/red wakin and longtailed fantail in some of the pictures have already been rehomed.

Cash. The only trades I will consider are a 75 or 125 gallon tank, or trades for South/Central American cichlids, South/Central American catfish, or US/North American native fish.

Thanks for looking and have a great day,
