Two desert boys — drummer and bassist — are looking for the heart and soul of our next project: a female guitarist and a female lead singer/guitarist who love emotional lyrics, crunchy guitars, and staring dramatically out car windows.
Influences include: Boy Genius (obviously), Phoebe Bridgers (duh), The Beaches, Frances of Delirium, Julia Jacklin, Alvvays and that one time someone said, “you give me Cate Blanchett in a band energy” and you’ve been chasing that ever since. Bonus points if you’ve ever cried to “Me & My Dog”, own Doc Martens in more than one color, or have a very specific opinion about which guitar Lucy Dacus plays live.
We’re searching for: A female guitarist (lead) with a strong sense of dynamics and an ear for indie tones and a female lead singer/guitarist with emotional depth, stage presence, and a voice that makes people hush mid-sentence. Maybe you've written lyrics in your Notes app with no intention of showing anyone. (yet)
No ego, no weird vibes. We want a collaborative, emotionally honest, queer-friendly space where songs matter and everyone contributes to the sound and story.
We rehearse in Tucson and are committed to making something real — not just open mics and wishful thinking. We’d love to write together, grow a following, and eventually play the kind of shows where someone in the front row is wearing a flannel and crying (in a good way).
