$3,799.00 new ($4,130 with tax) -- selling for $2,900 cash -- no trades. This stunning 2020 Taylor 614ce guitar has an unblemished, carefully selected tight grain torrefied Sitka spruce top and a beautifully figured brown sugar stained maple back and sides, along with a new set of Taylor black tuning pegs. It's absolutely one of the best looking examples of this pro level instrument. I'm sorry, but due to its high shine gloss finish the guitar's rare and insanely flamed book-matched wood grain back is very hard to photograph. Regarding its condition, it has been professionally set up and there is no string and/or fret buzz, it holds tune, and the pickups and controls all work as new. Additionally, the case is unmarked and in mint condition. I looked at a lot of Taylors, examining a wide range of flamed wood grains and finishes, before purchasing this guitar. This was by far the best one I found. Since I purchased it, the guitar has never left my bedroom and lives in its case with humidity packs in a non-smoking home. For the $1,230 saving over new you can buy yourself a very nice amplifier -- and own one of the most beautiful copies of Taylor's 614ce.

FROM TAYLOR:
"Crafted with solid Big Leaf maple back and sides and a torrefied Sitka spruce top, the Taylor 614ce was re-voiced by Andy Powers to generate warmth and openness. This Grand Auditorium takes a boost from the V-Class bracing inside, which adds volume and sustain that complement the torrefied top's extra sweetness and depth. The result is a guitar with a highly player-reflective sound, one that showcases the unique stylistic and technical quirks of each individual player. A hand-rubbed Brown Sugar stain highlights maple's natural figuring; other appointments include ebony binding, a paua/abalone rosette and Wings fretboard inlays. It includes ES2 electronics and a hardshell case."
