PRO TESTED and Rehabed - Digidesign Digi002 Rack Firewire Audio Interface! MIDI
I am a pretty darn good tech and sound engineer.
These digi 002's start to have all the volume and line pots crackle because of dirt inside.
Every in and output has been tested by me!
I am a 65 year old sound engineer by trade but picked up some mad repair/maintenance skills along the way. Here is a list of all the things done to a machine I rehab before selling.
1 Use "Deoxit" fader lube on all volume/record level potentiometers
2 Use "Deoxit" gold on every connector inside and out.
6 Painted the top with black paint (it had scratches)
7 Clean and vacuum inside/out.
(FYI "Deoxit" brand is the highest end of electronic rehab sprays and liquid treatments)

By the time I am done I would be surprised if I cleared minimum wage for the per hour profit to rehab cool electronics. But it is a labor of love I can do over morning coffee... Ha!
