2004 pre-PEAVEY Budda SD30 Series II amp head
If you've never played or heard one of these pre-Peavey Budda amps live then you probably won't believe what I'm about to say (and if you already know, you know!)
The pre-Peavey Budda amps (1995-2009) are some of the greatest amps that I have ever heard at any price!
And, incredibly, they can still be had in great shape for under $1500 (many under $1000!).
When I bought my first pre-Peavey Budda amp about two years ago I started selling off my much more expensive Fenders and Komets and Brunos and Marshalls because I didn't need them any more!
Of the over 100 amps I've had, vintage and modern (several exceeding $4,000 in current market value), my pre-Peavey Buddas (I have 6 now including this one) are right up there with the very best of them!...and better than almost all of them!
This SD30 Series II is in very good condition (a few minor dings and scratches only) and sounds amazing! This is for a musician/band that is playing out or recording! (not a bedroom amp..it's loud)
It's currently full of a gently used set of good JJ tubes (retail cost $150+).
$1100 with the JJs
If you have you own tubes it's $950 without tubes (I have a great set of NOS tubes for it but that's another chunk of cash)
Any questions reply here (but do some online research first...just search Pre-Peavey Budda amplifiers)
