Mesa Boogie Standard Oversized Rectifier 4x12 cabinet 280w
Kept and used in a clean studio (smoke and pet free).
This is the HOLY GRAIL of late '90s to early '00s metal, hard rock, and punk (Cannibal Corpse, Nickelback, Metallica, Pennywise, Meshuggah, etc). This half stack is louder than a few 100w full stacks because of the punchy UK made 8 ohm Celestion Vintage 30s. The cabinet was made in 2008 before Gibson ownership, when the Mesa V30s were rated at 280w (new Mesa 4x12s are 240w). The head was made in 2002 before the 'multiwatt' so it sounds closest to a Rev G dual rec. Everything works and sounds killer. I love this setup, I'm only selling it to fund a custom rig.
