Late 40s/early 50s Flot a Tone amplifier - Price Drop
Made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin mostly to amplify accordions, back in the day. I hadn’t fired it up for a while and when I did it had a bad buzz. My amp tech went through it and replaced some tubes and capacitors and it seems to be fine now. I looked in Vintage Guitars price guide and they’re valued between $675. - $875. I’ve read somewhere that Ry Cooder has one in his studio and I just found out slide monster Steve Dawson has one as well. I don’t remember what I gave for it some 25 or 30 years ago, but I just payed my tech $140. to go through it and add a three prong plug and a 1/4 inch jack instead of the old school screw on style. I’m sure I would do way better on Ebay or Reverb, but I hate to ship amps. I’M dropping the asking price down to $450. OBO. I’ve got way too many vintage amps and guitars and due to old age and health issues I have to move some of them out. I’m close to Speedway and Country Club and can let you try it out most any time. {520) 3Four3-23Four9
