Made for only about four years, the Guild S284 Aviator is one of the higher-end models in Guild’s New Aviation line from the 1980s. Ebony fretboard.
This guitar has EMG pickups: Single x 2 and one humbucker.
The body of the Guild S284 Aviator has the lower half of the guitar body resembling a Strat including the bevel on the top, while the upper half resembles a double-cut Tele.
