I own a beautiful Yamaha C7X grand piano with a high-gloss polished ebony finish which I purchased 10 years ago and have only played maybe 2 dozen times (due to having an electric piano at my office). However, I have had it tuned frequently, and it is in showroom shape. I am now downsizing my residence and am retiring and will bring my electric piano to my home. Therefore, I intend to sell my C7X piano.
This piano is in perfect, showroom condition. The piano presently resides in an alcove surrounded by windows, but the blinds have always been closed to protect the polished ebony finish from any and all sun exposure. The temperature has always been carefully maintained from 68 to 72 degrees. Over the ten years of owning this piano, I have been conscientious in having it tuned regularly, perhaps once every six months.
