FX-8 is a perfect pedalboard for use with any amp. Unlike the newer VP4, you have 8 foot
switches and the unit uses actual relays to remove itself from the signal path if desired
(meaning you’re physically removing the FX-8 from the signal path). And like all Fractal
products, it’s been designed for both live playing and studio use. The software helps
simplify playing live with features like ‘scenes’ where you can turn on and/or off
multiple effects with a single button press.
