This is the factory prototype of the current version of Epiphone's Inspired by Gibson Custom 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue, in Washed Cherry Sunburst finish. It's got kind of an iced-tea look in certain lighting.
Includes Gibson COA and original lifton-style hardshell case.
This is actually the guitar they used for the official photos of this model! You can see the distinctive striping of this particular top in the website photos of this finish. I included one in the listing photos where it's particularly noticeable.
The guitar is in fantastic shape. The vintage gloss finish is nice and shiny and shows off the deep figuring in the maple. The custom bucker pickups have a fantastic roar. The dark fretboard provides a nice setting for the pearl inlays to shine. This is a particularly dark laurel fretboard. The only noticeable wear is on the printing of the "Inspired by Gibson Custom" logo on the rear electronics cover. It weighs just over 8 lbs.
