Beautiful mountain dulcimer (Appalachian dulcimer), just with a different wood type, shape, and custom sound hole design with floral cutouts).
Made from mahogany or another darker hardwood veneer.
The design and finishing suggest it could be handmade by a hobbyist or a small workshop rather than a high-end commercial maker.
