This 3/4 violin is in good working order and ready to play.
This size of violin is typically used by students who are children between 9-12 years old. It measures 22" in length, measuring from the scroll to the end pin.
This particular violin has a sweet tone and nice flaming on the back, and Amati Auctions estimated it to be a German trade instrument (Markneukirchen/Mittenwald) likely built between 1901 - 1930, so it is around 100 years old.
It shows wear typical for an instrument of this age which has been used by children. There is a repaired crack below one of the f-holes. It has a fresh set of strings.
Comes with a vintage hard case which is in fair working condition, but shows a lot of cosmetic wear to the external covering.
NO BOW INCLUDED.
