This is a great classical guitar made in Japan . These Hauser replica models were imported to USA in the 80's and 90's by the Dauphin guitar co. in Illinois . Labeled as a Dauphin brand , it is in reality according to my research online, a Ryoji Matsuoka MH 80 classical guitar. IMO it has an excellent sound quality . The retail price new was just under 1K dollars , which translates into over 2K today . . Playability is good, with saddle lowered to make playing easy. Info I have found online says woods are all solid. It has a spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. Fingerboard is a beautiful dark black ebony . I just installed a set of D,addario j45 strings . Includes a very nice hardshell case. txt for questions .
