2017 Boucher Jumbo Acoustic guitar, $2,800 bubinga wood back and sides, adirondack spruce top, factory installed pickup
Boucher makes fantastic guitars with high quality woods. New this would be about $6500.
2005 Tony Vines Dreadnaught, $3,800 palo escrito (sometimes called mexican rosewood) back and sides, adirondack spruce top Tony Vines is an exceptional luthier well-known and respected, also a great guitarist and singer. One of his guitars I saw recently for sale at a boutique online guitar shop for $22,000
2022 Avalon Ard Ri L model, $2,700, amazaque (aka ovankel) back and sides and sitka spruce top, this one is tough to let go, big warm round sound that pleases, amazaque is to me warmer, clearer and not as dark as rosewood a great tonewood. The Ard Ri is Avalon's top of the line. Avalons are similar to Lowdens, the builders ay Avalon were running Lowden's shop at one time
