▸ WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll be the checkpoint that keeps our quality where it needs to be — inspecting incoming materials, in-process components, and finished parts before they head out the door. Day to day, that looks like:
Running dimensional inspections and comparing parts against engineering drawings and specs
Using calipers, micrometers, and CMM equipment to verify precision down to the detail
Inspecting welds and confirming compliance with aerospace standards
Verifying material identity and metallurgical requirements before parts ship
Flagging and documenting any nonconforming materials or services — including outsourced and purchased components
Keeping clean, thorough inspection records and QC documentation
Supporting the Quality Program Manager on incident investigations by gathering data, samples, and documentation
Partnering across departments to keep our continuous improvement work moving forward
▸ WHAT YOU BRING
Prior aerospace manufacturing experience (required)
Hands-on proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and CMM tools (strongly preferred)
A sharp eye for detail and a problem-solver's mindset
Strong grasp of QC methods and principles
Solid basic math and the ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Comfort with computers and MS Office
Clear communication skills — you can talk shop with the floor team and work cleanly with outside vendors
