Up for sale is a 2001 Honda RC51. This is the first generation or, "SP-1." This bike went through a "three-fourths" restoration. Meaning this bike, outside of Frame work and major engine work, has had extensive work done to it, including:

This bike was restored because it had been in a state of disrepair that required the following other work to get it back up to spec:
-Frame and Tank and other miscellaneous bits were stripped of bad "rattle-can" spray paint job with Citristrip and Goof-Off
-Repair ignition system wiring
-Myers Radiator in Utah welded and repaired left side Radiator leak
-Coolant System had through cleaning
Mileage will creep up as bike is driven.
I have will include an electronic version of the Honda Service manual on a flashdrive, an owner's manual, some OEM touch-up paint and numerous unopened OEM and aftermarket parts like extra front sprockets for gearing changes, extra front brake pads, O-Rings and other Nuts and Bolts.
Lastly, title has a Brand on it, even though the physical copy of the title doesn't state this. This is rather odd, but the reason dates back to 2014 from the bike being sold from a New Mexico seller that approximated the mileage on the title and rounded up to the nearest 10th of a mile, at least according to my research in talking with a third-party DMV.
So the bike's title brand has nothing to do with the restoration, it's a separate issue.
I would also say that since the valve clearance was completely in spec at around 29,000 miles, with no adjustments needed to be made, the bike appears to have perfect compression, and there is no viable tampering with the odometer, I would say this appears to be accurate, but of course, I have no way of knowing for sure.
The paint work will not be everyone's taste, so I'm willing to negotiate on price regarding this, but mechanically, this bike is in almost perfect condition. However, it is an almost 25 year old, high-performance sport-bike, and more then likely, if you are reading this far down this listing, you know exactly what a Honda RC51 is, and it's reputation, so it will need extensive maintenance for the rest of it's useful life, to keep it in this condition. This bike has not been pampered by any means, so this bike will be sold as is, and the condition of the bike will reflect this. Anybody that has extensive questions about this bike's history, I will be happy to go in detail about this bike either in person or over a phone conversation.
