The original company Clay Mine Adobe is out of business
Founded in 1996 in Tucson, Arizona, by Eric Johnson.
Produced bio-based adobe blocks using a Portland cement stabilizer and traditional admixtures like wheat straw.
The company is permanently closed.
Its equipment and offerings were salvaged by San Tan Adobe, which now produces a line of earthen plaster.
San Tan Adobe does not yet offer earthen plasters on their website.
