We are a land surveying firm dedicated to providing accurate, high-quality surveying services for construction, commercial development, and residential projects in the Tucson and surrounding areas. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Survey Rodman to join our field crew.
Job Summary:
The Survey Rodman assists the Survey Party Chief in performing field surveys. This is a hands-on, outdoor role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, teamwork, and learning the land surveying profession.
Key Responsibilities:
Hold the survey rod/prism pole and assist with measurements using total stations, GPS, levels, and other surveying equipment
Drive stakes, clear brush for line of sight, and mark survey points
Load, unload, transport, set up, and maintain survey equipment and vehicles
Perform basic construction layout, topographic surveys, and site surveys as directed
Ensure job sites are prepared and equipment is clean and organized daily
Work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains
Follow safety protocols and support the crew in completing projects efficiently
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to perform physical labor (lifting up to 50+ lbs. standing for long periods, walking over rough terrain).
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Prior construction, labor, or surveying experience
