Position Overview
• Provide in-home pet care services, including dog walking, feeding, litter box maintenance, and companionship • Interact respectfully and professionally with clients in their homes
• Follow detailed care instructions and visit schedules
• Communicate consistently using a smartphone (apps and text messaging)
• Travel between client homes throughout the day
• Represent Fetch! Pet Care in a professional and courteous manner
Required Qualifications
• Hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats is required; experience with other household pets or livestock is a plus
• Comfortable working with clients of all ages, including seniors, and individuals from diverse social and economic backgrounds
• Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling, communication, and visit reporting. Physically able to walk dogs, bend, lift, and work outdoors in Tucson weather conditions • Weekend and holiday availability is required
• Reliable and consistent access to a vehicle; driving to all client appointments is required • Willingness to learn, follow procedures, and accept training and feedback
Compensation and Scheduling
This is a part-time position, though many sitters maintain a full and consistent schedule
Earnings can be robust for busy sitters, particularly those open to overnight and 24-hour in-home services • Compensation is tied directly to availability, reliability, and the types of services accepted • Sitters focused on walks and drop-in visits earn reliable supplemental income each month • Services may include client tips/Holiday pay as an additional benefit
• Pay is commensurate with willingness to work, availability, and reliability
