We are seeking an experienced and reliable Paving Foreman / Dirt Foreman to lead field crews on construction projects. This role is responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and according to project specifications.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate crew members on paving and/or earthwork projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes
• Operate heavy equipment as needed (Loader, grader, excavator, etc.)
• Ensure proper site preparation, grading, and paving operations
• Monitor productivity and maintain project schedules
• Enforce safety standards and company policies
• Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors
• Perform quality control checks to ensure work meets specifications
Qualifications:
• 3–5+ years of experience in paving, grading, or site development
• Previous foreman or crew leadership experience required
• Strong knowledge of construction equipment and techniques
• Ability to read plans and understand grades/elevations
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• OSHA certification is a plus
