About The Role:
Our Dog Handlers are the heart of our daycare. You’ll spend your time supervising playgroups, supporting dogs of all sizes and personalities, and helping maintain a clean, structured environment where dogs can thrive.
This is an active, hands-on role that combines animal care with facility care. When the dogs are playing, you’re engaged with them. When they’re resting, you’re helping keep the space clean and running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
Supervise and safely manage dogs in group play settings (indoor and outdoor)
Monitor behavior, energy levels, and group dynamics
Maintain a safe facility throughout your shift, including:
Waste cleanup (“poop patrol”)
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
Laundry and crate sanitation
Trash removal and general facility upkeep
Occasional dog bathing
Complete closing tasks independently and thoroughly
Step into additional tasks as needed when dog activity is low
What We’re Looking For:
High integrity and strong sense of responsibility
Detail-oriented with a “leave it better than you found it” mindset
Comfortable with physically active work (standing, walking, lifting, cleaning)
Reliable and able to work independently, especially during closing shifts
Genuine interest in working with dogs and understanding their behavior
Interest in growing with the company over time
Schedule & Pay:
Part-time: 10–18 hours per week
Starting at $15.15/hour
