Vintage Mikimoto Japanese Akoya Four Pearl Pendant
Marked with the Mikimoto Clam Shell M Stamp
I have lovely four pearl Mikimoto yellow gold pendant with an 18 inch chain.
The pendant is about 50 to 65 years old based on the design.
The pendant while vintage looks like it was rarely worn.
The pendant has an interesting triple fleur-de-lis pattern.
The pendant dangles at the bale.
The pendant is marked on the back with the Mikimoto clam shell M stamp and 14K.
The three pearls clustered together are a touch over 6 mm each in diameter and the pearl on the bale is 5 mm in diameter.
In my opinion, the pearls are perfectly round, with no blemishes that I can see under a 10x loupe.
The drill holes are NOT chipped. The luster is just beautiful. The pearls are cream color with a rose cast.
The pendant is about 1 and 3/16 inches long with the bale, one inch without the bale and 3/4 inches at the widest point.
The box chain is 1.2 mm wide, 18 inches long and has a spring clasp.
The chain at the clasp is marked 925 Italy and a hallmark of some kind.

I cannot post web links on CL. Mikimoto items are rather expensive.
