condition: good
engine hours (total): 100
make / manufacturer: Neuson Wacker
model name / number: RD880
We bought this about a year and half ago for a few projects and no longer need it. You will be hard pressed to find a cleaner brand name compactor in this price range. Really is a great machine that made our lives much easier and if I had a continued use for it I would keep it but I just imagine it’s going to just sit around now.

The good
1. I replaced the engine with a brand new Briggs and Stratton vanguard 16hp engine (same as originally came with). Engine has approximately 100hr on it.
2. Did a full service on the hydronic system when I bought it. That included new filter and hydronic fluid. So about 100hrs on both of those.
3. Engine was just fully serviced. New oil, oil filter, and air filter. Less than 1hr since those were installed
4. All 4 of the scrappers are brand new
5. The majority of the hydronic hoses are new with in the last 2 years. Some replaced by previous owners and some replaced by me.
6. The exciter (vibrator) coupling was also replaced along with all the rubber isolators for the exciter.
7. No leaks.
8. Battery is about 2 years old (was replaced right before I bought it)
9. Overall the condition is very good. It does have some dents and scratches but it is ready for work when you pick it up.

The bad;
1. I never moved the ignition or choke back to the steering column after replacing the engine. Never been an issue it’s easy enough to open the hood and start it. Wiring is all still there if you wanted to do that.
2. One of the water valves doesn’t fully close. So if there is water in the tank water will come out of one of the drip systems. Didn’t use the water so never fixed it.
3. The hour meter hasn’t been hooked up as long as I have had it. New engine has approximately 100hr on.

Asking $9000
