Contempo HCM, an Arizona-based company, provides payroll and human capital management solutions to meet the workforce management needs of business owners.
We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated HR Specialist to join our team located in our Tucson office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Checking and responding to emails frequently and professionally
Assisting clients with HR Related software questions and resolving concerns
Processing E-Verify
Setting electronic onboarding and programming other HR functions within the software platform
Assisting with HR Client Setups
Assisting with unemployment claim management
Following all procedural documents
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Demonstrates a basic understanding of HR knowledge
Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills both with clients and internal staff
Ability to prioritize/organize work and problem solve work related issues
Ability to complete assigned tasks and duties with little or no supervision
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, comprehension and a desire to engage in continued knowledge of payroll software, payroll tax information, and HR knowledge
Experience operating a multi-line phone system
Experience using email and Microsoft Office
Team player (contributes to a positive team environment and demonstrates the ability to take direction and follow through with assignments)
Ability to represent the company professionally in interactions with internal and external clients
