Sierra Del Sol has an outstanding opportunity for an experience Wellness Director.

The Nurse position is the head of department for all functions relating to Wellness Services

in all areas of Assisted Living and Memory Care. This position operates at a high profile level

ensuring coordination of resident wellness needs and services in these two areas.

Additionally, the Nurse r is highly participative in the Sales and marketing of the

community.

Minimum eligibility requirements

• Completion of certified nursing program, LPN, LVN, RN

• Experience of 3 years or more in the care of senior adults and adults with cognitive

decline is preferred.

• Previous supervisory and/or management experience in a related healthcare setting

• Current state issued, unencumbered LPN, LVN, or RN license to practice nursing.

• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.

• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to re-prioritize daily tasks in order to

accommodate fluctuating needs of the resident and the community.

• Strong documentation skills.

• Experience in training and associates development.

• Ability to develop systems for monitoring resident health conditions and for ensuring

efficient and safe delivery of resident care.

• High level of ability in effective and succinct communication, written and oral with

residents, families, associates, vendors and the general public

• Must be capable of maintaining fulltime attendance

• Must meet all health requirements, including TB screening

• Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (essential job functions), with or

without reasonable accommodation

• Must pass criminal background check

• Must have valid driver license

• Maintain CPR certification

• Able to supervise department employees using independent judgment and discretion

• Knowledgeable of State, County and local rules, regulations, laws and ordinances

relating to nursing practice and community based care for seniors

• Is highly visible to the customer and to associates.
