These exquisite little delicacies are popular in nicer restaurants in the US and elsewhere for a reason - great flavor and a higher yolk to white ratio than chicken eggs. Many folks who do not tolerate chicken eggs well can eat quail and duck eggs just fine!
Housed outside in the fresh air, we give our 'Little Girls' substantially more room per bird than big commercial quail operations, and they have access to dust-bathing bins 24/7, an activity they live for. No cramped, stacked battery cages here, and we never use antibiotics, ever! We use dried mealworms for the extra protein quail need, instead of toxic soy.
$6 for 2 dozen nest run eggs. Eggs are gathered daily and kept in refrigeration. Email or call/text us at 425-205-eight-eight-one-one to arrange a purchase, and many thanks for buying local!
(NOTE: Yes! Fertile eggs for hatching are available! They are $8 per box of two dozen, or $0.33 each if you want a smaller batch.)
