Theo is available for adoption. We care deeply for Theo.
Theo is 3-4, 14.1hh, from Twin Peaks HMA. He will need an experienced adopter comfortable with reactive type horses.
We've worked **real** hard to get this nervous boy to where he is. He can be pretty easily caught now, he leads great, backs up, ropes can go all over him, ties, picks up all 4 politely, lunges on and off the line, can be brushed all over.
Cons: he can be reactive. His go to thing was to rear when scared, which we worked on; and he has begun again when he got spooked while loading. We will keep working with Theo in hopes to build his confidence. Theo also has what we suspect is heaves/allergies. He's had a chronic, mild, here and there dry cough since he arrived late December. Happy to give more info.
Theo is SWEET and never has struck, kicked, bit, run us over, etc. Due to his nervous nature though, he does need someone experienced and confident to keep it that way. He's come a long way and I suspect will be quite solid with more time. Enjoys attention and melts into you when he trusts you.
Theo lives in a 5ft stall with no issues. Middle of the herd hierarchy. LOVES to play.
