These are used for koi ponds and water features to eliminate mosquito larvae
Put them in any standing water, including ponds. They eat any larvae of insects, especially mosquitos. Some have used them in horse Troughs or as feeder fish in personal ponds for bass and so forth. Help keep west nile and other viruses down.
However DO NOT Place these fish in any open stream or natural water Like lakes or city operated ponds.
