He is an OTTB and is being offered as a project horse only. He is not suitable for a beginner and will need an experienced, patient home!!
I want to fully disclose that he has offered to rear/stand before, but has never bucked with me. He also has some quirks. He weaves, can become anxious around horses working nearby, and may pull back while tied if other horses around him are being reactive or spirited.
A few months ago, he was running a really nice set of barrels and doing well. I personally feel that hauling and the jackpot environments may have increased his anxiety. he has developed the habit of thinking for himself and refusing to continue working after a certain point. Once he reaches that point he spins and stands his way back to the barn/away from the arena/trail.
I truly believe there is still a good horse in there for the right person with patience and consistency. I’m happy to speak openly with potential homes about him and his behaviors.
