This bed frame came from Aldrich Baby New, the well-regarded Tucson furniture store that has since closed its doors — so you won't find a replacement on any showroom floor. It's solid alder hardwood throughout (not veneer, not MDF), which is exactly why it's still in very good condition after years of use. Alder is a dense, tight-grained hardwood that resists dents and warping far better than the pressed-wood furniture flooding the market today. The large under-frame drawers span the full width of the frame, offering generous storage on quiet-rolling glides. Full size (54" × 75"). Disassembles easily for transport. Priced at $150 — a fraction of what comparable solid wood furniture sells for new.
