Laser Tech Impulse range finder will measure distances and vertical angles to fractions of an inch or degree. Use to accurately measure the distance, slope angle, and vertical heights of poles, stockpiles, slopes, trees, anything a laser will bounce off of. Accurate, simple and easy to use hand held or stabilized on a bracket that fits standard 1/4 inch photo tripods. Case for the Impulse with bracket is included.
Was used frequently by an engineering company to profile rock slopes, measuring the widths of ledges, heights and depths of pockets, and to lay out installations on steep slopes. The applications are limitless.
For 3-D laser profiling team with the MapStar angle encoder mounted on the included tripod. The angle encoder levels the system to a fraction of a degree and automatically encodes the horizontal angle so that each laser reflection is determined in x y z space. The Impulse, Map Star and attaching hardware can be transported in the high-impact, cushioned case included. (3-D applications require an iPad and software available from Laser Tech.)
