Lauda RM20 / RMT Circulating Chiller / Heated Laboratory Circulator. I brought this bath down to around freezing using tap water. The coils started icing over before I shut it down (see photo). This is a 20 liter (5 gallon) capacity unit rated from about -20°C to about 100°C (-4F to 212F) although I cannot verify the temp that low without the proper fluids.

Use of distilled water is recommended for temperatures from +10° on up, or a mixture of laboratory grade ethylene glycol
and water for temperatures from +10° to -20°C.
