As an IEP Coordinor you will play a critical role in supporting high-quality special educion programming by overseeing the development, implemention, and compliance of student Individualized Educion Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). This role helps ensure th all special educion practices align with ChanceLight, Ombudsman, agency, ste, and federal requirements while promoting meaningful student outcomes.

Serving as a key compliance and instructional support leader, the IEP Coordinor partners closely with SPED Case Managers, teachers, school leaders, families, care providers, and district personnel to strengthen IEP quality, support audit readiness, and promote consistent implemention of special educion policies and procedures. This position also helps build positive relionships with stakeholders by representing the organizion professionally and collaborively.

‖ Responsibilities Include:

• Monitoring the development, implemention, quality, and effectiveness of student IEPs and BIPs to ensure alignment with company, school, ste, and federal regulions.
• Ensuring SPED Case Managers follow special educion policies, procedures, timelines, documention standards, and compliance requirements.
  Establishing strong, professional relionships with parents, care providers, district personnel, and community stakeholders while promoting a positive organizional image.
• Auditing IEP documention, compliance checklists, special educion processes, and case management practices to support quality assurance and ste monitoring readiness.
• Attending IEP meetings as needed to support compliance, goal review, service delivery alignment, required revisions, signures, and completion of post-IEP activities.
• Collaboring with SPED Case Managers, teachers, and school leadership to strengthen IEP development, transition planning, service implemention, and da-informed decision-making.
• Supporting curriculum modificion, differentied instruction, and instructional planning to address diverse student needs, learning profiles, and academic goals.
• Using instructional stregies, intervention resources, educional software, and specialized curriculum tools to support student engagement and progress.
• Meeting with teachers and staff to interpret special educion documention requirements, support accure student file maintenance, and reinforce confidentiality expections.
• Maintaining confidential student records, documention systems, compliance files, and timely reporting practices in accordance with organizional and regulory standards.
• Coordining with school-based SPED Case Managers to review incoming student IEPs and 504 Plans, assess student needs, and incorpore intake assessment informion.
• Faciliting the evaluion and reevaluion process by providing guidance, documention support, and relevant informion to SPED Case Managers.
• Providing annual staff training on special educion policies, procedures, compliance expections, documention requirements, and best practices.
• Training SPED Case Managers on IEP development, special educion dabase use, transition planning, compliance workflows, and da-based decision-making.
• Staying current with research-based practices, legal updes, instructional resources, professional development opportunities, and emerging trends in special educion.
• Participing in assurance, accredition, audit preparion, and performance improvement processes to support successful site outcomes.
• Contributing as an active member of the site, regional, Ombudsman, and ChanceLight teams by supporting operional priorities and organizional initiives.

‖ Qualificions Required:

• Bachelors degree or higher in educion or a closely reled field of study.
• Master's degree or higher in special educion or a closely reled field of study preferred.
• Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a valid AZ ste special educion instruction credential.
• Hold currently or have the ability to obtain a valid AZ ste fingerprint clearance card.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certificion in company approved crisis management training.
• Minimum 1 year prior relevant teaching experience, preferably in an alternive, special educion and/or behavioral health program setting.
• Prior experience and/or highly knowledgeable in curriculum development, differentiion and instruction in a classroom setting.
• Prior experience and/or knowledge in special educion services and compliance, effective teaching stregies, classroom management systems, da-based decision making, and working with students with individualized educion plans (IEP's).
• Highly skilled in working with children with learning disabilities, emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders and/or other reled disabilities.
• Proficiency in providing motivion and having critical conversions with students th help move them toward realistic goals and next steps.
• Prior experience and/or highly proficient in reading, writing, analyzing and interpreting detailed reports and business correspondence.
• Proven ability to manage complex and/or sensitive informion, maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
• Advanced oral and written communicion, organizion, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability.
• Knowledge of relevant technology including experience with instructional technology, Microsoft Office Suite, dabase entry and basic office equipment.
