Dynaco Stereo 35. Many feel that the ST-35 was Dynaco's best sounding amplifer, which was due to the transformers. Dynaco wound their own, and by the time they designed these they had become very good at it. The power transformer and the output transformer are just about the only thing on this amp that are original. New (maybe 4 years ago) audio boards and Enhanced Fixed Bias board, new tubes, shiny new chassis, binding posts. EFB is a circuit designed by Dave Guillespe that fixes some of the shortcomings of the original design. It changes the circuit configuration from a cathode bias to Enhanced Fixed Bias and uses a voltage regulated adjustable bias. The board also adds power supply capacitance. This all gives this little amp some punch, especially for a 17.6 watt/channel amp.
The power tubes are a matched quad of JJ EL-84s. The driver tubes are NOS 7274s
