2005 F-250 XLT FX4 Crew Cab, short bed 6.0 diesel. Fabricated steel front & rear bumpers, in-bed 35 gallon aux. fuel tank, Diamondback 270 tonneau cover. Oil changed every 5,000 miles with Shell Rotella full synthetic. Work done: November 2019 - new radiator, water pump, hoses, serpentine belt, rebuilt turbo, head gaskets and head studs, Bulletproof EGR (yes, it failed). July 2020 - Front suspension rebuild including new RedHead steering box. October 2020 - at 200,000 miles, flushed front and rear diffs, transfer case, and brake fluid. New BFG KO2 all-terrain tires April 2022. November 2022, Street Smart 5R110 transmission installed and rear main seal replaced. March 2025, full A/C system replacement. September 2025, upgraded brakes to Power Stop KC1782-36 Z36, replaced master cylinder and all brake hoses at the same time.
It looks 20 years old, but it's mechanically a lot younger. Ready for another 225,000 miles.
