Maintained regularly by my man Dennis at Desert Sun Automotive on Stone, easily the best damn mechanic West of the Mississippi.
Bought this thing about 10 years ago and have a new(ish) timing belt (okay maybe 40k miles on it), yokos with plenty of tread left, a brand-spankin-new (literally put in today) expensive Everlast battery (thanks Dennis). All this is documented with crumpled stack of random maintenance receipts in the glovebox going back longer than my kids entire lives.
She ain't much of a looker these days, but you'd be hard pressed to find something with cold AC and decently reliable as this baby's been for me over the last decade.
Alas, it is time for us to part ways as a new job means upgrading to a new Rav.
