This 1991 Volvo 240 is rough around the edges and could use some cosmetic attention, but mechanically it is sound.

•This could be a good project car to get into nice condition
•It would also be a dependable ‘beater' for anyone that just wants to leave it as is.

I have had it for a little over a year and have repaired most of the minor issues it had when I got it. The only issues it has now are the front doors only open from the inside. Currently, In order to unlock and open the front doors you need to do it from the inside, reaching forward from the backseat. I have replacement (original OEM) handles to fix the problem and will be installing/fixing them this week. In addition to that, the air conditioning also needs a recharge. I will also be doing that this week. Other than those 2 things, the car just needs a little love and cleaning.

Off the top of my head, the new parts added in the past year are:
•new battery
•new fuel filter and fuel pump
•new oil and coolant
•new transmission fluid
•i know some things are slipping my mind.. I have receipts I can provide.

ASKING $2000 OBO (OR BEST OFFER)!

•automatic transmission
•timing belt was replaced only 12000 miles ago
•power windows and doors
•tires are looking good
•easy and cheap to work on
•approx. 200,000 miles-sounds like a lot, but these cars can run a very long time
•comes with quite a few spare parts, if the buyer wants them
•no rust
