Extremely sad but I need to say goodbye.
Located in Tucson Arizona.
Have all the parts and tools to finish but you can just take it as is, drive to New York or Chicago with no issues.
1968 Ford LTD 390 with code s manifold and c6
Got it 4 years ago, extremely sad to let it go but I have to move.
Extremely reliable daily driver, can sustain Tucson winters and summers with 0 issues. Even on 110°+ days.
I have put over 3x the amount of money and labor vs what I’m asking.
Upgrades:
New fuel system with return line, electric fuel pump, bypass regulator and heat shield.
Refreshed suspensio.
Electronic ignition
High output alternator.
Electric brushless 4,400cfm puller fans and 8in pusher fans on ac condenser with controller.
LED headlights
Custom headers to tail stainless steel exhaust system
High volume aluminum racing pump, inline filter and brand new 4 core aluminum radiator wirh fan shroud
Transmission and engine were gone through and they don’t leak. (Rare on any FE)
Holley 600 carb (will include tune up kits)
Carb cheater with oxygen sensor (will need android device to tune it but currently set at 14.5)
Brand new wheels
Interior was stripped, rust treated and lizardskin heat and sound treated with both dynamat extreme and regular noise dampening all over the car.
Custom sound with radio unit, amp and extra bass in the trunk
Llumar rx nano ceramic window tint
Body is true minus a ding and some bondo in the front quarter
Obviously the car is not finished.
It needs the last 10%
Wiring needs to be tidied up (looks unhinged but just needs the solenoid / fuse box installed, I have it and new loom)
Paint (clearly) (I have everything to paint it, from hoses to sand paper, guide, and jet black paint)
Interior needs to be finished but all parts are there including new headboard, and all the trim)
I’ll include all the tools, extra parts, hard to find parts, trim, etc etc you need to finish it and I still have all the original parts if you rather take it to complete stock.
I just did a tune up and a 1,200 rockauto order but need to sell asap.
The bad:
Steering is starting to get a bit loose. Have new bearings. (It has adapters for the wheels)
The wiring as you can tell.
The exhaust needs to be properly hung and welded (and polished)
The ac compressor ($185) and the drier ($10)needs to be replaced. I hydro locked it
But it’s a really easy fix. I had AC most of the summer (134a)
Fuel gauge doesn’t work perfectly. New sending units don’t really measure correctly. So either you use a resistor or you get a new gauge or you modify the sending unit a bit.
Glass needs to be resealed and could benefit from new weatherstripping
