1966 Chevy C10 Shortbed -
Factory shortbed, not a longbed to shortbed conversion.
Comes with a 350 sbc and a '67 Turbo 400 trans.
350 is a '74-3970010 casting # block with 882 heads, an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold, and a 600 cfm Edelbrock carb. Also has Hooker Headers and Flowmaster mufflers.
Has a 12-bolt rear w/3.73 gears.
I have a brand-new Spartan Locker for the 12-bolt that goes along with the truck.
I took the front clip off to put a 454 big block in a couple of years ago. I clearanced the tops of the frame rails so I could use '73-'87 C20 motor mounts and frame stands.
I also took the big 1&1/4" front swaybar from the C20.
I ended up using the 454 for another project, so I set the 350 & Turbo 400 back in, but haven't bolted everything up yet, or put the front clip back on.
This truck is a great "blank canvas" for someone to make their own.
It has supposedly been an AZ truck it's whole life, but it does have the typical rust areas on the lower front fenders, and the floors have some holes.
I just kept a rubber floor mat on the floor when I was driving it.
It does have new rocker panels, and the bed sides are rust-free. The bed wood is missing, but the metal rails are still there.
There are Eagle Alloys on the truck (15x8 front and 15x12 rear) with old, roller BFG's. Also comes with 4 factory steelies (15x6).
This will make a great little hot-rod or project for someone, without breaking the bank.
