1957 Continental Mark II. Serial number C56R3728 is a rare limited production hand-built automobile. Approximately 432 were built for the 1957 model year. Selling price in 1957 was $10,000, or approximately $112,000 in today’s money. Completely rebuilt engine and transmission, front end. Radio was also restored. New radial tires. Sold by Selby Motors Tucson, AZ. This car has never been out of Tucson. The interior leather is in beautiful condition. The car has been in dry storage in Tucson for eight years. However, the selling price will reflect the fact that because of the lack of driving, the power brakes are not operational even though they had been rebuilt prior to storage and will need to be attended to. The weatherstripping and rubber coolant lines could also be attended to. A new fuel pump was installed to start the car and it runs very well. Priced to sell as is $35,500.
