The Last Supper --the Clay Figurine Biblical Scene by famous Oaxacan folk artist Josefina Aguilar, for sale. It is complete, with Jesus and all 12 Apostles, their chairs and table set for the feast with wine chalice and flatbread, fish and tamales. Each Apostle figure shows his own recognizable personal expression depicted in clay, in amazing detail including that of Jesus and Judas.
The set includes a custom vitrine display table of handmade cherry wood with liftable glass top, a photo of Aguilar herself, plus a hand-drawn sketch of the proper position of each figure of Jesus and the Apostles around the table.
$1000 includes the complete figurine set plus the display case, velveteen display base, sketch and photo (Individual Aguilar clay figures currently sell for $48-$185 each).
